The Council Of Elders

The sun now wears a mask, we cannot see his face
He sends no light to us, we lack his worm embrace
The world, it feels so cold, this night will never end
We cannot even hunt, all of our senses dead
The nature starts to die; we feel it in the air
The pressure seems to rise, he doesn’t even care
All water turned to ice, how can we even hope?
All of our history is running down the slope
The cycles are reversed and everything is changed
The beings are confused, they’re acting very strange
We’ll soon run out of food, we’re running out of air
Our world is dying fast, he doesn’t even care

We have to act somehow; we need to find a way
We cannot sit and wait and watch it slip away
It might be late by now but something must be done
We have to force our wits and come out with a plan

We gathered here this day, the eldest from our town
All hope is turned on us, we cannot let them down
God put us though a test, his will we cannot ask
We have to raise our head and overcome this task

But we are old by now; we do not have the strength
The quest is toilsome; we cannot run its length
Four heroes we must call, they have to fight for us
They have to travel north, and do whatever must
