Leviathan

They are now walking the sea
For it has frozen on the surface
There is no creature deep beneath
To disapprove their interference
Or so they think…

The sea became a wasteland
They climb on dunes of icy waves
For them, this land opens its hands
To welcome them into their graves
It’s like a dream…

The land was silent as a crypt
But as their feet rustled the desert
A thunder cracked from underneath
Becoming conscious of their presence
So it begins…

May those who curse days curse that day
Those who are ready to rouse Leviathan

A light is rising from the deep
His eyes and whitish skin are blindingly glowing
By his neesings a light doth shine
And his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning
The meanest creature in the sea
Could easily fill his mouth with its vast body
And he can send a heat so great
The water starts to boil when he is hungry

Can you pull in the Leviathan with a fishhook?
Or tie down his tongue with a rope?
Can you put a cord through his nose?
Or pierce his jaw with a hook?

The beast erupted through the ice
Its howl opened up the sky so it could pass
Ten minutes took it to arise
And cage the heroes, stopping them into their task
A wall surrounding them for miles
Taller than a mountain, longer than a river
The ruler of this frozen desert
Showing all the might it gathered through the years

Can you pull in the Leviathan with a fishhook?
Or tie down his tongue with a rope?
Can you put a cord through his nose?
Or pierce his jaw with a hook?

So it begins
The mountain grows
The river spins

It’s like a dream
The beast unfurls
They can’t succeed

Or so they think
Hanged from its gills
Lies the Kilbit

It was you who crushed the heads of Leviathan
And gave him as food to the creatures of the desert
